Andrei Ilinca

Andrei is a seasoned Technical Leader at Tremend, with extensive knowledge in software development for both web and mobile. In this role, he is successfully leading engineering teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle of complex and innovative solutions for leading players in Telecom, Technology, Retail, and eCommerce. He started writing software professionally more than 6 years ago and since then he has experimented an exponential growth, due to his passion for technology, his going-the-extra-mile attitude, and relentless execution.

A strong advocate of engineering leadership best practices, Andrei actively contributes to the early adoption of cutting-edge technologies within the team, to the development of the craft guidelines for Tremend projects, as well as to the improvement of the company’s internal processes in strategic areas, such as the internal Coaching Program, and project allocations.

Andrei graduated from the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science of the Politehnica University of Bucharest. He has also worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, which is one of the first pillars that helped him in shaping a very effective way of training and mentoring software engineers of various seniorities to leverage a culture of continuous learning and build the right blend of technical skills.
