Bogdan Musat

Bogdan Musat is an Applied Scientist at Amazon Ring, where he develops AI-based technologies for smart home security devices that make neighbourhoods safer. He is also a PhD student in the field of Artificial Intelligence. His passion for AI began in 2014 during his undergraduate period and drove him in the following years through areas like time series analysis, natural language processing, computer vision, efficient neural network deployment, and reinforcement learning. He’s a true believer in the potential of AI to unlock great applications for humankind, which could ultimately accelerate our rate of technological growth. In his spare time, Bogdan enjoys reading about topics related to economics, personal development, and biographies and put his creativity to good use on the piano keyboard.
