James Coplien

Programmer, professor, researcher, and executive consultant over his 45-year career. James is widely published in object-oriented design and programming language, as well as in organizational design and dev process, including the seminal “Organizational Patterns of Agile Software Development”. Scrum’s Daily Scrum came from the research behind that book. He is the creator of Organizational Patterns and was the PO of and a lead contributor to “A Scrum Book: The Spirit of the Game”.
