Laurentiu Spilca

Laurențiu Spilca is a highly skilled software developer, trainer, and author with over a decade of experience in Java and Spring technologies. He currently serves as a development lead and trainer at Endava, where he manages projects with worldwide installations, particularly in the financial market. Spilca has been a software developer since 2007 and is deeply committed to sharing knowledge, having delivered thousands of hours of training to more than 3,000 students. He also teaches at the University of Bucharest and regularly presents at international conferences in cities like New York, Berlin, and San Francisco.

In addition to his teaching and development roles, Spilca is an accomplished author. He has published several books on Spring, including Spring Security in Action and Spring Start Here. He is also an active YouTuber, where he shares his insights on Java and Spring development.

Outside of his professional work, he enjoys traveling, music, and scuba diving.
