Nina Lazar

Nina Lazar is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in the Digital Innovation Team at Morningstar Sustainalytics. She focuses on building end-to-end machine learning solutions to support the company’s research processes.
Nina studied Math and Computer Science and has almost one decade of experience in IT in different data related roles. In the past 5 years, she has shifted towards Machine Learning and currently is leveraging deep learning and natural language processing to create powerful, data-driven solutions. Nina’s portfolio encompasses the development of natural language generation, information extraction, predictive models, and training large language models.
When she’s not working she enjoys all things science fiction and spending as much time as possible in the outdoors with her family.
